Fashion designer Jason Wu has been collaborating with the kitchen and bath brand Brizo for more than a decade. Here, a look at Wu’s newest kitchen collection.

After more than 10 years of fruitful collaboration with the kitchen-and-bath brand Brizo, the acclaimed New York fashion designer Jason Wu is now bringing his innovative designs and sophisticated finishes to the next frontier—namely, the kitchen sink. “I’ve been honored to work with the Brizo brand for over a decade—merging our complementary approaches to design to bring fashion into the home,” says Wu, who first gained notoriety as the designer of First Lady Michelle Obama’s inaugural ball gown in 2009. “I was eager to collaborate again to push the boundaries of both finish and style.”

The Jason Wu for Brizo Kitchen Collection includes a variety of faucet technologies, including the SmartTouch feature, which allows you to control the water flow with a simple touch (allowing for a mostly hands-free experience during those messy moments). With a quick voice command, you can also turn the faucet on and off; control the water temperature; and deliver precise measurements. You can even follow current CDC guidelines by activating an intuitive hand-washing mode.

Exclusively available in a bold matte white finish, the faucet brings an unexpected and modern statement into the kitchen. The handles (sold separately) show off their Scandinavian influences with matte white, polished nickel, or teak and nickel split-finish options. Sleek and streamlined, the collection was indeed designed to mesh with a wide array of decor styles—but it’s clear that these statement pieces were never intended to simply blend in.

Starting at $687, the Jason Wu for Brizo Kitchen Collection is now available for preorder, with shipping slated for winter 2020.
