When my husband and I were in the market for a new home about 10 years ago, we had certain requirements that house needed to fulfill — a spacious kitchen, an attached garage, and a comfortable master bathroom. The latter was important, because in our previous house, we’d found ourselves routinely battling it out for space in front of our small master bathroom sink, and actually stepping on each other’s toes as we moved between the vanity and shower.
In our new home, we insisted on a larger master bathroom — but that wasn’t all. We also wanted certain features that would make that space even more usable and shareable, and now, 10 years later, I can say that I’m particularly grateful for the following.
